Sendai, Japan - a city of one million people on the
northeast coast of the main island.

- What is this mission?
This is a response to the need for follow-up with the
130+ contacts, made every summer through the Let's Start
Talking program

- Why
Sendai?
We have been invited by the church to continue working with
established relationships formed with college students,
housewives, and children.

- When did you arrive?
July 9th, 2002. We have made an initial commitment of
five years.

- How much support do you
still need?
Ben still needs $500 in pledges,
whereas Joel and Jon are still in need of 50% of their
funds.

- Are there many foreigners in Japan?
The Japanese population is composed of 99% nationals. .08% is
Korean, and the rest a mixture of all other nations.

- What is the main religion in Japan?
People mainly adhere to the Shinto and Buddhist faiths.
