Gathering on a Sunday afternoon with some church members and a couple of girls who are interested in becoming Christians.	Joel delivers a dynamic sermon while Mawatari sensei translates.
River Side Worship
The church gathers on a big tarp along side the Hirose River for our yearly “River Side Worship.” As we joyfully worship our Maker, many people could witness our love for Him.	Mawatari sensei (left) and Hosoi-san lead our thoughts during the Lords Supper.
After the worship service we always eat lunch together. Here’s a peek at our meal – pickles, soup, rice balls, radish and chicken. You’re hungry, aren’t you?	Nana (left) and Hanako (right) can’t wait to eat!
Children of the Church
Naomi Seki - 8 years old. We call Naomi, “Ben’s adopted niece.” She was baptized last year, and is “growing up in the Lord.”	Momo sure is growing fast. She’s about to break the one year mark, and already as stylish as can be!
Ester is from Korea ! Besides be adorable, she is 3 years old and never stops smiling.	Last November the young Christians from Sendai Church traveled the four hours up to Hachinohe to be mutually encouraged by the believers there.
